Franklin’s park system ranges from ballfields and playgrounds to preserved battlefield landscapes, horse-farm acreage and Harpeth River access.

Signature park

The Park at Harlinsdale Farm

Roughly 200 acres include walking and hiking routes, a four-acre dog park, catch-and-release pond, soft 5K track, equestrian trail and event facilities. The historic property is closely tied to Tennessee Walking Horse history.

Jim Warren Park

A 58-acre active park with 12 baseball fields, four football fields, tennis, basketball, playgrounds, skatepark, pond and walking trail.

Pinkerton Park

A 34-acre passive park along the Harpeth with playgrounds, pavilions and a one-mile paved trail; a pedestrian bridge connects toward downtown.

Eastern Flank Battlefield Park

A 110-acre historic landscape with interpreted walking trails and restored natural areas on the former Battle of Franklin site.

Harpeth River access
