Parks & recreation

O’Fallon gives everyday recreation real space.

The parks system ranges from a 200-acre tournament complex to neighborhood playgrounds, walking trails, pickleball, dog-friendly space and nature-focused parks. For relocating families, that breadth can materially change how a neighborhood feels day to day.

Pick your park by lifestyle

Different parks solve different needs.

Best for organized sports

Family Sports Park. Tournament activity, large field inventory and a long trail make this the obvious sports hub.

Best for nature + dogs

Rock Springs Rotary Park. Shaded and prairie-style trails, dog park, nature center and fire pit give it a distinctly different feel.

Best everyday neighborhood mix

Community Park or Hesse Park. Both combine courts, playgrounds, fields and walking options that work for routine family use.

Beyond the parks

Recreation is bigger than green space.

O’Fallon Parks & Recreation also operates community facilities and programming including O’Fallon Station, the O’Fallon Aquatic Center, Katy Cavins Community Center, Rock Springs Rotary Nature Center, summer camps, youth sports, adult leagues, arts and special events.
